Tako Grill is hitting the road, but won't be going far.

The Japanese restaurant on Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda will be moving to its new Hampden Lane location in March. The restaurant is scheduled to close its current location Feb. 21, according to its website.

Tako Grill will move to the former space of Hinode Japanese Restaurant at 4916 Hampden Lane, inside the Shoppes of Bethesda retail center. Hinode closed in July after the owners decided to close the restaurant rather than renew their lease at the location.

Bethesda-based Draiman Properties, which owns the Shoppes of Bethesda, recently spent $900,000 to  renovate the retail center’s façade.

Tako Grill’s Wisconsin Avenue location is part of a land parcel on which The Bernstein Cos. is planning to build a Westin Hotel and an office building.
