Top Banana Home Delivered Groceries Inc. provides home-delivered grocery service to frail seniors, adults with disabilities and others in need of support to live healthier, more independent lives.
Staff and volunteers shop, deliver, shelve groceries, offer friendship and ensure community connection for residents unable to shop for themselves.
Last year, Top Banana served more than 400 clients across the region, including more than 200 county residents who received 3,500 grocery deliveries.

Serves: Montgomery, Prince George’s and Charles counties and Washington, D.C.
What a donation buys:
• $250 provides gasoline for one week of deliveries to elderly residents.
• $1,000 supports weekly grocery delivery for two frail customers for a year.
• $10,000 will underwrite delivery subsidies for 20 customers for a year.
Volunteer opportunities:
• Weekly: Help with marketing, media and community outreach, including presentations to congregations, civic groups and clubs.
