Red Wiggler Community Farm

Red Wiggler Community Farm

Red Wiggler Community Farm provides employment for adults with developmental disabilities on its USDA-certified organic farm.

Annually, more than 700 people with and without disabilities participate in inclusive education and service learning activities in the outdoor classroom. It harvests about 25,000 pounds of produce a year, 25 percent of which is distributed to low-income individuals.

Red Wiggler is currently working to raise money to build a multipurpose farm building and greenhouse so farm programs can run year-round.

Headquartered: Germantown

Serves: primarily Montgomery County residents
