The caregivers hired by Assisting Hands Home Care are employees of the company, not contractors, and are all Maryland licensed certified nurse aides, extensively prescreened by the operations team and supervised by the director of nursing.

Because the safety of the client is always a major concern, the company offers the Help Alert™ system that notifies family, friends and caregivers when there is an urgent need. This emergency system is pre-set to call designated contacts. It is a customized service that provides 24/7 protection for anyone who is alone.
