Daniel Kraus, D.C., Clinic Director

4733 Elm St., 3rd Floor

Bethesda, MD

When your posture is off, so are many other aspects of your overall health and wellness,” says Dr. Dan. “Chronic pain, headaches, loss of mobility… the list of problems can go on and on.”

An Advanced Certified Fellow in Chiropractic Biophysics, Dr. Dan is an expert in posture correction and pain management. His practice uses tools like chiropractic biophysics adjustments, mirror image exercises, Active Isolated Stretches, physical therapies, deep tissue laser and many forms of traction—all of which can improve mobility, decrease pain and restore proper function.

Highly sophisticated posture improvement programs are tailored specifically for every member of the family. Located in the heart of Bethesda just off Woodmont Avenue, treatments target the underlying causes of asymmetrical postures, repetitive stresses and pain syndromes. Patients may have suffered a trauma, auto accident or a fall. Others might spend lots of time hunched over a screen or in a physically stressful environment. “Our best patients are looking to make long-lasting posture improvements for overall health and wellness,” Dr. Dan says. “I work with people looking for pain management, but I also want my patients to truly understand the relationship between proper posture and proper function.”

“We will always start with the least invasive treatments first and then graduate to more invasive therapies, if needed. We really want posture improvements to last and be life-changing for those we serve. Showing our patients, firsthand, how to maintain posture improvements is a big part of what we do.”

Dr. Dan grew up in Silver Spring and is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He is Board certified in Maryland, and by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He offers free consultations.
