Mercy Health Clinic is a community-based health care center that provides more than 2,200 uninsured, low-income adult residents of the county with free, high-quality medical care, educational support and pharmaceuticals.
Its full range of medical services, delivered primarily by volunteer physicians and other health professionals, includes primary health care and specialty clinics, psychiatry, health education programs and an onsite pharmacy.

What a donation buys:
• $250 covers the cost of two patient visits.
• $1,000 provides nutritional or diabetes education for 40 patients.
• $10,000 would help to establish an ophthalmology clinic.
Volunteer opportunities:
• Weekly: Doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses or medical assistants can volunteer to help provide services. Bilingual volunteers are needed to help with translations. Help out in the administrative office, performing clerical duties such as data entry, front desk check-ins and eligibility screening.
