Valley Mill Day Camp, located in Darnestown, Md., has been a staple of the Washington D.C. area since 1956. With more than 60 acres of woods and a two-acre spring-fed lake, the camp provides a spacious and scenic environment for its campers. Valley Mill’s mission is to foster group cohesiveness and resilience through outdoor challenges. The camp’s convenient location and the provision of transportation offers a perfect balance between the excitement of an away camp and the comfort of being close to family.
Valley Mill’s camp program is designed for children ages 4-14, providing them with adventure, friendship and fun. Many children return to Valley Mill year after year, continually discovering new experiences and deepening their connections with their peers.
