Nothing says romance like Champagne and oysters—and Black’s Bar & Kitchen has many good options for both. The restaurant’s raw bar typically stocks 10 varieties of bivalves, and the Champagne list leans toward lesser-known labels. “We have boutique bubbly to geek out on,” says Assistant General Manager Alicia Chyun, who has helped orchestrate six proposals at the restaurant. During a recent brunch proposal, the groom did a quick handoff of the ring at the buffet and Chyun slipped it into a glass of bubbly.
