When patients walk into The Pediatric Care Center in Bethesda, they’re often greeted with hugs from staff members who have known them since they were newborns.
“It’s like a family there,” says Marcie Garfinkel of Bethesda, whose two children are patients of Dr. Paul Weiner, one of four full-time doctors and three part-time physicians in the practice.
Weiner, who joined the practice in 1989, says that’s no accident. “Our big goal is to be the kind of practice we grew up with when we were kids, and to make it a friendly atmosphere for kids and families,” he says.
The practice, located in a comfortable three-story house off of Old Georgetown Road, also offers evening and Saturday hours, another reason Bethesda Magazine readers made it their No. 1 choice both this year and last.
