Manor Park, Rockville
Manor Country Club serves as the center of social life for Rockville’s Manor Park neighborhood, an eclectic mix of ranch-style houses, split-levels, Tudors, colonials and other homes located off Georgia Avenue, between Norbeck Road and Bel Pre Road. In the summer, neighborhood kids make lifelong friends on the club’s swim and dive teams. In December, residents don their finest attire for the club’s black-tie Holly Ball. In between, residents can stay busy with events like comedy nights, karaoke and wine tastings. Residents who opt out of club membership still enjoy a host of annual neighborhood traditions, such as the Great Oak-toberfest party held on the neighborhood’s main road each autumn.
