Bold Bite
Everything is bold about Bold Bite, whether it’s the spicy chorizo, the Cajun ketchup or the clear and consistent menu. Done in red, gold, dark gray and white, both the menu board and pamphlet match the color scheme and tone of the small designer hot dog eatery. The assertive lettering is easy to read, and a happy-face icon with a hot dog-shaped smile designates dogs made with all-natural ingredients. “We wanted it to be irreverent and fun,” says co-owner Alonso Roche, who used the General Design Company in Washington, D.C., to tie together the whole bold concept.
