RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation
Armed with a business plan he developed in college, Robert Alexander launched his transportation company in 1988, operating out of his parents’ Bethesda home and using his new black Saab sedan to ferry customers or run their errands.
Twenty-five years later, that fledgling business, Errands Plus, has morphed into RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation, a North Bethesda-based company with more than 200 employees and a fleet of more than 110 cars, vans, stretch limousines and minibuses. Under an agreement with Bethesda Urban Partnership, RMA also owns and operates the Bethesda Circulator buses and hires and trains their drivers.
“We are obsessed with customer service,” says Alexander, RMA’s president. “That’s the focal point of everything we do. Chauffeurs are always polite, they help with luggage and the car is always immaculately clean.”
