You could take her to Friendship Hospital for Animals, where veterinarians are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to handle a variety of urgent cases. Now in its 75th year, Friendship sees more than 800 animals for after-hours urgent care monthly, in addition to those served by its daytime practice. With two critical care specialists on staff, the hospital offers emergency services ranging from intensive nursing care to surgery and pain management. It even has an in-house lab. When it’s time to euthanize a pet, owners are given a private room in which to say goodbye.
