Where North Bethesda meets Rockville, on the corner of Tower Oaks Boulevard, Dr. Adam Tattelbaum has been performing cosmetic plastic surgery in his private surgical clinic for over twenty years.

“My mother was an artist and I grew up making jewelry in her studio,” says Dr. Tattelbaum. “I use the same skills now that I used back then, but today the artistry is about people. I love making my patients feel “normal” again after childbearing, weight loss, or treating other problem areas that I can help them to improve.”

Dr. Tattelbaum’s detailed consultations, like his websites, are about teaching, education and dispelling the myths on the internet. “It is important to me that patients understand all aspect of the surgery they are considering, and what can be realistically and safely accomplished,” he states.

Originally from New York, Dr. Tattelbaum completed his plastic surgical training at Georgetown and Harvard University after his chief residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. Board certified in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery, he is an active member of the professional staff at Georgetown and attends many regional hospitals. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, which serves as a mark of distinction in cosmetic surgery.

“I love what I do. Thank you once again to my patients, peers and Bethesda Magazine for this recognition.”
