Korean Community Service Center of Greater Washington
Korean Community Service Center of Greater Washington serves 7,000 Asian-Americans and new immigrants in the region through culturally and linguistically appropriate social services, including parent education, life-skill workshops, academic and health classes and senior programs.
In 2010, it served 2,170 people in Montgomery County.

What a donation buys:
• $250 allows five low-income parents to participate in parenting education classes.
• $1,000 provides translation and interpreting services to 20 seniors and low-income Korean-Americans.
• $10,000 supports KCSC’s emergency support program, which provides emergency funds and/or grocery coupons for 35 people.
Volunteer opportunities: (SSL)
• One day: Volunteer at the annual health fairs.
• Weekly: Provide administrative support in the office.
