What you will be doing:

  • Supporting the Managing Director and other production members of the Walker & Dunlop Capital Markets team in business development activity, property marketing campaigns, due diligence organization, market research, and client reporting
  • Coordinating development and distribution of marketing materials
  • Supporting business development activities (meetings, presentations, etc.)
  • Maintaining detailed log of production and business development activity in Salesforce
  • Maintaining database of investors and lenders
  • Preparing Offering Memoranda (OMs) for owner and operators
  • Researching market comparables and prepare detailed market/economic analysis
  • Managing weekly client reporting activities
  • Coordinating special events and client hospitality as necessary
  • Communicating and problem-solving daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, often in combination with travel
  • Other skills related to building a career in Capital Markets!

 

The education and experience we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree (marketing, communication and/or finance concentration preferred)
  • 1+ years’ experience in commercial real estate/capital markets/marketing field preferred

 

What skills you should have:

  • Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Excel, Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite software programs preferred
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to accurately and productively handle multiple tasks during time sensitive situations
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and relationship building skills
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours or weekends to meet deadlines when appropriate
  • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
  • Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders
