Director of Sales & Marketing
The Four Seasons, Washington D.C. is currently looking for a dynamic and creative Director of Sales & Marketing to join their Planning Committee team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Marketing will provide leadership to the entire Sales, Catering and Public Relations team and to all hotel Employees by embodying the Four Seasons Leadership Behaviors; ability to easily connect, encourage and promote our Employees craftsmanship and celebrate the character within each Employee. The Director of Marketing should be able to build an environment of trust and openness, invest in the development of others and lead with inspiration. Please Note: this position is expected to commence on, or about, January 1, 2020.

Knowledge And Skills
The ideal candidate possesses a past record of accomplishment of driving business to be a market leader in RevPAR and EBITDA performance. Understands ownership’s vision for the positioning and guest experience of this property, and is able to market the vision accordingly. As the revenue leader for the Hotel this position is responsible for a team that includes Revenue Management, Public Relations, Sales, Reservations, Event Sales and Group Services and Marketing for the hotel and all outlets. Requires strategic planning in the digital world including implementing paid marketing campaigns, analyzing and updating SEO, and maintaining a current and inviting digital presence on all platforms. This role is responsible for presenting the hotel’s performance to ownership on an established basis. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 to 5 years as a Director of Sales and Marketing.
Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States. Applicants without valid work authorization for the United States will not be considered.
US work authorization is required unless candidate is currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location. Current Four Seasons managers may qualify for L-1 visa sponsorship.
