Director, Digital Strategies and Marketing Operations
About the position:
The Director of Digital Strategies and Marketing Operations manages day-to-day activities of eBusiness and Marketing Operations teams, and reports to the Head of Marketing for the Intermediary Distribution Division. The Director is responsible for the development and implementation of digital strategies and marketing automation initiatives intended to maximize marketing effectiveness, empower distribution teams, drive client engagement and deliver exceptional customer experience. The Director will be responsible for developing processes and tools to improve operational support of the marketing organization in the areas of digital enablement, materials development and management, financial control, campaign life cycle, and business intelligence. Effective collaboration with Division leadership, Marketing teams, shared services such as IT, Operations, Compliance as well as external business partners and vendors is critical to overall success.
Specific responsibilities include:
The Director of Digital Strategies and Marketing Operations will:
·Lead effort to maximize digital capabilities and marketing effectiveness of the Firm.
·Possess breadth and depth of knowledge involving marketing technologies, digital best practices, and related trends.
·Drive the development of digital marketing efforts, UI, website design, mobile applications and on-line tools to enhance overall user experience
·Continuously research, evaluate and improve marketing technology competencies of the Firm.
·Manage and optimize email communication programs designed to reduce costs, increase user engagement and build customer loyalty.
·Drive campaign measurement and reporting process; provide insights to enhance decision-making
·Supervise fulfillment and manage materials inventory and materials usage
·Assist with development and execution of marketing campaigns across various product lines
·Manage budget and evaluate ROI of marketing efficiency, systems and processes
Skills & experience required:
The candidate we are looking to hire has;
·Ten years related experience in digital marketing and eBusiness fields, in general.
·Knowledge of financial services industry and understanding of intermediary distribution strategies and tactics
·Demonstrated experience introducing automation and digital practices in marketing organizations/functions
·Dynamic leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to rally multiple constituencies around a common purpose and deliver projects on time
·Experience with account-based management, multi-channel marketing and attribution modeling
·Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills; proficient in statistical software applications (i.e. MS Power BI, Business Objects, Google Analytics, etc.)
·Understanding of internet business communications, practices and ethics
