Job description

Reporting to the AVP Marketing and Communications, the Assistant Director will execute marketing and communications programs across the Foundation. Working closely with members of the Foundation, Foundation Leadership, and Hospital PRM the Assistant Director is responsible for managing marketing and communications campaigns and activities in support of unrestricted fundraising across all marketing channels.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree

Specific Requirements and Preferences
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or equivalent experience in a related field. (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
4 years

Required Skills/Knowledge
Outstanding verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate to internal and external audiences across all marketing channels. A high level of initiative, compassion, creativity, and enthusiasm coupled with an ability to integrate communications to reach various audiences in the most effective and engaging manner possible.

Functional Accountabilities

Program Development and Execution
1. Serve as integrator across Foundation in support of overall fundraising and visibility goals
2. Develop and execute campaign plans that promote brand and fundraising
3. Manage external and internal communications, including but not limited to, digital media, print collateral and videography
4. Serve as liaison with PRM to help ensure consistent branding in the marketplace
5. Serve as primary point of contact for media relations

Content Strategy and Execution
1. Develop and implement integrated brand messaging and execute seamlessly across channels
2. Manage internal and external resources in implementation of content and messaging strategy
3. Serve as liaison with PRM to help ensure integrated narrative with consumer audiences

Innovations, and Improvements
1. Proactively employ best practices in marketing and communications to continuously improves processes and outcomes
2. Offer guidance to streamline and improve integrated communications
3. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop relationships and gather feedback
