Interfaith Works serves more than 35,000 county residents each year by providing shelter and services for the homeless, housing for families and individuals, clothing centers, mentoring, vocational services and emergency support programs for individuals and families in crisis.

he nonsectarian interfaith coalition leverages the support of more than 7,000 volunteers and 165 congregations each year.

What a donation buys:
• $250 buys five months’ worth of diapers for a baby.
• $500 buys a new backpack and school supplies for 10 children at the Interfaith Clothing Center.
• $1,000 provides a tuition subsidy for a client to complete a Certified Nursing Assistant or Pharmacy Tech course.
• $10,000 purchases technology for 10 case managers to respond to the needs of clients in the shelter and housing programs.

Volunteer opportunities: (SSL)
• One day, weekly or monthly: Donate and/or sort clothing and household goods at the clothing center; prepare and serve meals for shelter residents; provide tutoring, job coaching or parenting skills; or help clients gain employment.
