HealingWorks offers integrative medical care to 1,200 military families touched by the trauma of war.
It provides acupuncture and therapeutic bodywork to injured service members/veterans, their spouses and families, and professional caregivers who tend the war-wounded at local military hospitals.

What a donation buys:
• $250 provides a therapeutic bodywork session for 36 Wounded Warriors to alleviate sleeplessness, digestion issues, stress and anxiety.
• $1,000 provides a one-day acupuncture and therapeutic bodywork clinic for 36 wounded soldiers, family and caregivers.
• $10,000 funds three months of acupuncture and therapeutic bodywork clinics at a military installation for 4,362 wounded soldiers, family and caregivers.
Volunteer opportunities: (SSL)
• One day: Volunteer at a special event to help raise money for wounded soldiers.
• Weekly: Volunteer as an intake worker; or help in the office with administrative and fundraising support. Long-term volunteer opportunities are available for volunteer, marketing or development coordinators.
