The Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra (wmgso.org) is a community orchestra and choir whose mission is to share video game music with a wide audience by putting on affordable, accessible concerts in the Washington, D.C., area. WMGSO also brings transformative musical experiences to school age children through partnerships with libraries and the Children’s Inn at NIH.

What a donation buys:

  • $25 buys supplies to use at education outreach events.
  • $200 covers percussion rentals for one concert.
  • $500 covers rehearsal rental space costs for one concert season.

Volunteer opportunities:

  • One day: Help with front of house concert duties.
  • Weekly: Assist with data entry.
