Gandhi Brigade
Gandhi Brigade is a youth-directed community media organization that allows teens to explore issues of identity, community and justice using video, photography and graphic design.
The programs prepare participants, mostly minority or immigrant youths, to become community leaders. Participants are trained and certified in various media forms, and create multimedia to engage and transform the community around them.

What a donation buys:
• $250 trains and certifies a young person as a video producer.
• $1,000 sponsors a trip for seven young people to the Social Justice Forum.
• $10,000 supports a social justice video campaign that reaches 5,000 people.
Volunteer opportunities: (SSL)
• One day: Communications, financial and technology professionals can volunteer to help assess operations.
• Weekly: Media professionals can volunteer to teach video, music, graphic design and photography two hours a week.
