Explore our NEW Online Gallery Experience, the 20th Annual Yellow Barn Instructor Exhibition, opening Friday, June 5.

The Yellow Barn Studio is a flourishing center of Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, and Art History at Glen Echo Park. Founded twenty-five years ago, the Yellow Barn Studio is now one of the largest painting centers in the Washington D.C. area, thanks to the outstanding artists whose work is on display in this exhibition. Through their talent and love of teaching, they have built the reputation of the Yellow Barn Studio as the place to study art.

What you are about to see is what the Yellow Barn studio prides itself on, the diverse philosophies of our faculty. Each one of them has distinguished themselves as both a master artist and a master teacher. They are chosen to teach at the Yellow Barn for their talent and the fact that they love to teach. Each artist whose work is displayed in this exhibition is fully invested in their careers. They are all award-winning artists, who have gallery representation. Through their work with their students, they have instilled a passion for the arts. Their art is so valuable to our community.

While we can’t be together in person, we’re bringing you online classes & events, virtual exhibitions, at-home activities for kids, and more! Please, #StayConnectedGEP!
