Montgomery Parks, Montgomery County, The Montgomery Parks Foundation and the Coalition for the Capital Crescent Trail (CCCT) will name a new park plaza on the Capital Crescent Trail after the late Neal Potter, former Montgomery County Executive and six-term member of the County Council on November 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. The plaza is located at River Road on the Capital Crescent Trail, in the open space adjacent to the bridge.

The plaza will feature benches, two stone sitting walls, a pergola, trees, lawn areas, bike racks and a repair station.

The event will include a speaking program, ribbon cutting and light refreshments.

Parking is available at the Washington Episcopal School located at 5600 Little Falls Parkway, Bethesda, MD 20816
