Join Marlene DeMaio, M.D., CAPT, Medical Corps, U.S. Navy (ret.) for a discussion of her research and development of improved protective military equipment including body armor and helmet technologies. Currently Dr. DeMaio is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania and Co-Director of the Arthritis Clinic at the Corporal Michael J. The American University Dance Program presents “Gallery” | Senior Dance Capstone 2019. See the AU Museum through the lens of movement. Galleries will be filled with new works by graduating dance students including TED-style talks, new choreography, and dynamic performances.

Artistic Direction by Britta Joy Peterson.

Doors open at 5:30pm and show begins promptly at 6pm. Discussion and reception to follow.
