Mental health is an essential component of our overall health and wellbeing. Here in the US, one in 25 American adults suffer from a serious mental health condition that impacts their quality of life. From DC to Palestine, no person should ever have to suffer constant distress. The Gaza 5K is an annually held event that raises funds for UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East) mental health services for Palestine refugee children in the Gaza Strip, thanks to supporters from all around the US who step up and take action by fundraising for the cause. Join us to make access to mental healthcare a reality for refugees!
