Leap through the wardrobe and into a winter wonderland in this dance-based adaptation of C.S. Lewis’s treasured novel from the Chronicles of Narnia. A remount of Imagination Stage’s Helen Hayes award-winning 2012 production, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe tells the story of four siblings who journey from war-torn England to a magical land frozen in eternal winter, where the powerful lion Aslan leads them on a journey to discover their destiny. Music, modern dance, and breathtaking puppetry tell a story of love, sacrifice, and redemption.

Hike & Seek: Winter Wonderland @ Locust Grove Nature Center

Looking for a little adventure? Follow the clues as you hike around Cabin John Park to solve a new nature-themed puzzle each month.

This month we’re hosting a holiday-themed scavenger hunt: I spy with my little eye, swirls of snow and stars in the sky, woodland critters in warm mittens and coats, and little silver bells playing musical notes.

Check-in at the front desk any time between 2 pm and 5 pm for the clues. Then work together with your family to find hidden objects in the park along the trails.

$2 per person. Please register both adults and children over the age of 2. Natural surface trails are not stroller accessible. Severe weather cancels the program.

Register by Friday, December 13 to receive a prize for completing the hunt.
