Rep. Jamie Raskin to Address Indivisible Montgomery @ Kensington Park Library

Indivisible Montgomery will welcome at its December meeting Rep. Jamie Raskin, who will discuss the achievements of House Democrats, progress on impeachment, and how best to get involved in the 2020 elections.

Congressman Raskin represents Maryland’s 8th Congressional District in the House of Representatives and is a returning member of the Judiciary Committee, the Committee on Oversight and Reform, and the Committee on House Administration, where he is vice chair. He is also a member of the Committee on Rules and chairs the Rules Subcommittee on Expedited Procedures. He is also chair of the Oversight Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties and vice chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution.

Following the main meeting, action-oriented committees on Elections, Regulatory Changes, and Hearings and Events will meet. Guests interested in becoming involved with Indivisible Montgomery should visit those committee leaders.

Indivisible Montgomery is a grassroots organization of nearly 1,700 Montgomery County residents who work for diversity, inclusion, transparency, and the empowerment of all Americans through political activism. Members take action each week to engage with our Members of Congress to resist the Trump agenda
