"Going the Extra Mile" is my personal motto. I sell in all three jurisdictions, and do what's needed to get a job done. I've raked leaves, shoveled sidewalks and arranged lawn care for out-of-town sellers. I once cared for a client’s cats when a closing was delayed, and have walked the family pooch while buyers looked at my seller’s home. I've gotten on the floor to build Legos to keep restless kiddos out of Mom & Dad’s strategizing space.
I view myself as a collaborator, where teamwork is key. I love networking with other agents, sharing ideas, tips and leads on listings and buyer needs. I love taking a client’s vision, then using my expertise to research opportunities to match up buyers and sellers.
One client described me as a “tenacious optimist.” In today’s fast market –
with scarce listings and a plethora of buyers willing to escalate in price and waive contingencies – tenacity and optimism are critical skills!
Originally from Colorado, I moved to D.C. in 1987, worked in publishing for 15 years, then began selling homes in 2004. My husband and I raised our three children in Glen Echo Heights (Bethesda). As empty nesters, we designed and built our dream house. We now love entertaining in our Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired “prairie-style” home. He cooks fabulous meals, and I do everything else!
