• $250 covers the cost of three financial literacy classes for 40 single mothers.
• $1,000 furnishes an entire apartment for a family.
• $10,000 provides a one-year scholarship for one child in the Montessori program.
Volunteer opportunities:
• One day: Volunteers with business experience could host a one-hour workshop on job readiness and business etiquette.
• Weekly: Volunteer as a literacy coach to help mothers improve their written and spoken communication skills or apply to enter/re-enter degree programs.
