Coronavirus Chronicles: Call for Submissions

Bethesda Beat is publishing Coronavirus Chronicles, a series of personal essays from our readers telling about their experiences during the coronavirus pandemic.

Personal essay topics may include losing a job, caring for loved ones, balancing childcare with remote work, or missing out on milestones such as graduations and weddings.

Below, we invite you to submit an essay of 300 words or fewer. Submissions must also include a photo, which can be a head shot or an image taken in the context of the essay.

To be considered for publication, essays must be written by residents of Montgomery County or Upper Northwest D.C. Essays must not be previously published or submitted elsewhere for publication.

Essays will be selected and published on a rolling basis. We will be in touch if we select your essay for publication.

Select essays published by Bethesda Beat may also be published in Bethesda Magazine.

Please reach out to leigh.mcdonald@bethesdamagazine.com with any questions.
