Comment Policy

We encourage comments on stories, but they must contribute to a constructive conversation. Strong opinions are fine, but comments that are abusive, personal attacks, threatening, profane, GIFs, videos or advertising will be removed. Comments cannot violate a person’s right to privacy or violate any law. Violators will have their post removed and may be banned.

If you see a comment that you believe violates this policy, please email us at website@bethesdamagazine.com.

Comments with banned words or excessive formatting or that are very long might be automatically blocked from publishing or removed if they violate our policy or that of our commenting platform, Disqus. We had been blocking links, but we now allow them, as long as they are not spam, advertising or otherwise inappropriate.

If you feel your comment has been blocked or removed unfairly, please contact website@bethesdamagazine.com.

Thanks for reading.
