Hearts and Homes for Youth Men's Event

Vic Seested payed homage to his grandmother Avis Birely who, as the frst female President of the Montgomery County Council, initiated the first ever grant to Hearts and Homes for Youth 50 years ago. There wasn't a dry eye at his restaurant Taste Gastropub in Olney, Md. as he explained the importance of carrying on her legacy to support at risk youths in need of a loving home and a chance at a better future. Rex Smith, President & CEO of then organization thanked guests for attending the inaugural Men's Event including the host committee including Clinton Portis, Michael Andrews and Steve Hull.
Guests enjoyed a five course meal prepared by chef Lenard Robinson each paired with a beer from Oskar Blues.
Clinton graciously posed for photos with his Washington Redskins fans, signed footballs for the organization's annual gala auction and signed Taste Gastropub's celebrity wall.
