Montgomery County’s first boys home for trouble and neglected boys is proud to announce their 4th HONOR’s Celebrating the Spirit of Legacy.  This year, Hearts and Homes for Youth (HHY) honored Jack Fitzgerald, Patrice and Scott Brickman and ABC7 Leon Harris for their commitment to the area youth.

HONOREE’s Jack Fitzgerald has been a motivator for children’s safety. The Fitzgerald Child Car Seat Inspection Program and the child ID packs for children in the DC area has and continues to help keep children safe in the community.

Patrice and Scott Brickman have kept a strong commitment to our community. Scott utilizes his leadership skills as the Chair for Neediest Kids and Patrice has focused on Baptist Home to help disadvantaged youth as well as getting their family involved with local soup kitchens.

Leon Harris continues to inspire our community with not just his award winning journalism career or his Harris Hero segments on ABC7 News but his devotion to For Love of Children.

The annual HONOR’s Celebrating the Spirit of Legacy, benefits Hearts & Homes for Youth’s mission of helping troubled children and youth, who are abused, neglected or runaways become independent and productive adults.
