Vintage, classic and antique cars were in the spotlight Saturday at Chevy Chase Acura for the 22nd Annual Come Back to Bethesda Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show and Family Day. The charity event raised $20,000 for The Children’s Inn at NIH, a home where children and their families stay for free on the campus of the National Institutes of Health while participating in medical research.

Car-show enthusiasts enjoyed the showroom, where Chevy Chase Acura donates the entire space for the day. Children’s Inn residents picked the “Kids’ Choice Award” and helped John Bowis, owner of Chevy Chase Acura hand out dozens of awards.

Meanwhile, a spillover crowd from Taste of Bethesda danced along Cheltenham Street to an all-day free concert by local band Almost Blue. The band had a guest appearance by Children’s Inn drummer Oswayne, 17. Young dancers from Joy of Motion, who had two dance groups perform, energized the crowd.
