BlackRock Center for the Arts Open House
Families experience the arts during the annual open house
On August 25, BlackRock Center for the Arts hosted its annual Open House, attended by approximately 250 people.
Guests were encouraged to experience the arts and get to know the resources that BlackRock offers the community.
Adult guests enjoyed an art exhibit and sale by the Art League of Germantown that was both in BlackRock's, as well as arts workshops taught by BlackRock faculty in various visual and performing arts.
Children and families also had fun with roaming entertainment by magician Mark Phillips, a scavenger hunt (and prize) and arts and crafts activities.
The event concluded with a reception welcoming BlackRock's new Executive Director, Krista Rimple Bradley.
