| Published:

On Saturday, May 19, the Gaithersburg Book Festival hosted more than 110 nationally acclaimed, award-winning and best-selling authors, as well as educational workshops, performances by musicians and poets in the Coffee House and activities and fun in the Children’s Village.

In just its third year, the Gaithersburg Book Festival drew tens of thousands of attendees from all around the Washington, D.C., area – and as far away as Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania – to hear from authors like New York Times #1 best-seller Jenny “The Bloggess” Lawson; 30 Rock’s Judah Friedlander; journalists Jim Lehrer and Marvin and Deborah Kalb; sportswriter John Feinstein; and children’s authors Mary Downing Hahn and Tom Angleberger, to name just a few.
