The Bethesda and Medical Center stations will close Saturday and Sunday due to leak repairs in the tunnels.

According to Metro’s website, Red Line trains will run between Glenmont and Friendship Heights and between Shady Grove and Grosvenor-Strathmore. Riders can use free shuttle buses to get between Grosvenor-Strathmore and Friendship Heights.

Trains will run every eight minutes until 9:30 p.m., when they will run 15 minutes apart.

Riders must tap their SmarTrip card to enter and exit the Metrorail system, but will be charged for a single trip in the work zone, Metro says.
