Streets were packed on Saturday as thousands of people sampled local food, drinks and entertainment during the annual Taste of Bethesda.

Dozens of restaurants participated in the 30th annual event, which ran along Norfolk, St. Elmo, Cordell, Del Ray and Auburn avenues.

Musical and cultural performances were held on five stages.

There was a table for arts and crafts for children.
