CRAVE, a full-service restaurant chain that offers a sushi bar, extensive wine list and American classics, will open Sunday in Westfield Montgomery mall in Bethesda.
The Minnesota-based restaurant won the National Restaurant Association’s “Hot Concepts” award in 2012 for its eclectic mix of sushi, burgers, steak, pasta, flatbreads and other items.
It will be CRAVE’s first location in the Mid-Atlantic region. It has outposts in Minnesota, Ohio, Nebraska, Texas and Florida.
The restaurant is on the lower level of the mall next to the Cheesecake Factory and near Bobby’s Burger Palace.
It’s the latest full-service restaurant to be added to the mall, after MET Bethesda.
It’s part of Westfield’s $90 million renovation project for the mall, much of which went toward building a new parking garage, multiplex movie theater and upgrading the facility’s food court into what the company calls its “Dining Terrace.”
