Two injured in Aspen Hill shooting

Man, boy have injuries not considered life-threatening, police say

A man and a boy were injured Tuesday night in a shooting in Aspen Hill, Montgomery County police said.

Sgt. Rebecca Innocenti, a police spokeswoman, told Bethesda Beat on Wednesday that officers got a call at 11:23 p.m. Tuesday for the report of a shooting in the 3600 block of Pear Tree Court.

A man and a boy were found with gunshot wounds, she said.

Innocenti said the man and the boy were taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

She did not have additional details, and said the shooting is under investigation.
