A Montgomery County man died Sunday afternoon when his car was struck by another vehicle that crossed into his lane, police said.

Matthew McKenna, 20, of Clarksburg, was westbound on Snowden Farm Parkway when an eastbound sedan crossed the center line of the road near Clarksburg Square Road, and struck his car, police said.

McKenna was declared dead at the scene, police said.

A county police spokesman said an investigation is continuing and no charges have been filed.

The 43-year-old Clarksburg man driving the car that crossed into the path of McKenna’s car was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
