Rockville motorcyclist dies after two-vehicle crash

Crash occurred on Norbeck Road in Colesville area

A 24-year-old Rockville man died after the motorcycle he was riding crashed with a car in the Colesville area on Friday night.

Christian Richardson was riding a 2014 Yamaha FZ-09 motorcycle west on Norbeck Road, according to a news release from Montgomery County police.

The car was a 2007 Toyota Prius, driven by 22-year-old Tatiana Ogundeko, of Waldorf.

Ogundeko was driving on Llewellyn Manor Way, crossing Norbeck Road, when her Prius and Richardson’s motorcycle crashed.

Police and an emergency crew responded to the scene at approximately 8:20 p.m.

Richardson was taken to a local hospital, where he died, police said in a press release Saturday morning. Police did not indicate when he died.

Ogundeko and a female passenger were not injured, according to police.

Police said they are still investigating the cause of the crash.
