Montgomery County Police

Montgomery County Police have released photos and surveillance video of three people accused of slashing the tires of three cars in Silver Spring in June, hoping for the public’s help to identify them.

According to police, officers received a call at 2:24 p.m. on June 11 at the Cameron Street Garage in downtown Silver Spring that two cars had been vandalized.

Officers found that all four tires on both cars had been slashed. Then they found a third vehicle in the garage with slashed tires. The owner of the third vehicle told officers that property was taken from the car.

The 15-second video shows three people walking down a street, three minutes after police received the call.

Anyone with information is asked to call the 3rd District Patrol Investigations Unit at 240-773-6830 or those wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-TIPS, and can be eligible for a cash reward of up to $10,000.
