Montgomery County police are investigating thefts from two vehicles in Aspen Hill that happened early Nov. 10. Police think the same two people committed both thefts.

Both thefts took place on the 14000 block of Manorvale Road, according to police. In the first theft, the victim reported that people entered a vehicle in their driveway and took what was in the glove compartment and center console. The vehicle doors were unlocked, police said.

In the second theft, captured on surveillance video, one person is seen opening the door to a work van in the driveway and taking out a piece of clothing. They are also seen trying to open the door to a car in the driveway, which is locked. Two people are shown walking away later in the video.

Police announced the thefts in a press release Tuesday afternoon. They are asking anyone with information to call them at 240-773-5476 or Crime Solvers at 866-411-8477 for a possible reward of up to $10,000.
