Police investigating hit-and-run in Rockville

Police release video to get public’s help

Montgomery County police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened in Rockville last week.

A black Cadillac Escalade was traveling north on Hungerford Drive near Frederick Avenue around 4:40 p.m. on June 3. It hit a Mercedes that was also going north, police said in a press release.

The Escalade pulled into a nearby parking lot, then continued north on Hungerford Drive police said. It had damage to the right wheel and fender area, police said.

The driver of the Mercedes was not injured.

Police released a short video of the Escalade on Friday and are asking anyone with information to call the 1st District Station at 240-773-6070.
