Thefts from vehicles

Three thefts from vehicles occurred between July 12 and 14 on Underwood and Woodbine streets and Beechwood Drive in Chevy Chase. No forced entry was reported. Property was taken.

Kensington

Residential burglary

Someone entered a residence and took property in the 11000 block of Glueck Lane between approximately 10 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. July 11. There were no signs of forced entry.

Thefts from vehicles

Four thefts from vehicles occurred between July 13 and 16 on Bangor Drive, Stillwater and Kenilworth avenues and Weymouth Street. No forced entry was reported. Cash and property were taken.

North Potomac

Residential burglaries

Someone entered a residence through an unlocked door and took property in the 10700 block of Tuckahoe Way between approximately 11 p.m. July 11 and 5:30 a.m. July 12.

A 17-year-old Gaithersburg boy was arrested after entering a residence through an unlocked window and taking property in the 14600 block of Country Creek Lane between approximately 12:01 and 6:30 a.m. July 12.

Rockville

Residential burglary

Someone broke into a residence and took property in the 9800 block of Sotweed Drive between approximately 7:45 and 10 p.m. July 16.

Thefts from vehicles

Four thefts from vehicles occurred between July 6 and 13 on Ardennes Avenue, Hunters Lane, Alderbrook Court and Randolph Road. No forced entry was reported. Cash and property were taken.

Thefts from vehicle

Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the 9900-10000 block of Sorrel Avenue between approximately 7 p.m. July 10 and 5:30 a.m. July 11. No forced entry was reported. Cash and property were taken.

Silver Spring

Aggravated assault

A male of unknown age assaulted a man in the 15500 block of Old Columbia Pike in the early morning hours of July 15.

Thefts from vehicle

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between July 11 and 19 on Pershing, Medical Park and Cody drives, Warren Street, Rookwood  and Emmet roads, Luzerne Avenue and Ellsworth Court. Forced entry was reported in one event. Cash and property were taken.

Commercial burglaries

Someone stole property from a construction site at 12100 Plum Orchard Drive between approximately 6 p.m. July 12 and 6 a.m. July 13. No signs of forced entry were reported.

Someone took property from an apartment storage area in the 1200 block of East West Highway at approximately 2:36 p.m. July 13. No signs of forced entry were reported. Property was taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at The Montgomery Vascular Care Center at 2121 Medical Park Drive between approximately 5 p.m. July 16 and 6:45 a.m. July 17. No signs of forced entry were reported and nothing was taken.

Strong-arm robberies

Two men around 19 years old assaulted a woman and took cash from her in the 9000 block of Piney Branch Road at approximately 4 p.m. July 14.

Three men in their late teens assaulted another man and took property from him in the 3800 block of Bel Pre Road in the early morning hours of July 14.

Attempted armed robberies

A person displaying a weapon attempted to take a man’s cash in the 2100 block of Hildarose Drive in the early morning hours of July 17.

A male, age unknown, assaulted a man and tried to take his property in the area of Georgia Avenue and Ripley Street in the early morning hours of July 12.

Thefts from vehicles

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between approximately 5 p.m. July 11 and approximately 12 p.m. July 12 on Willow Wood and Sarah drives, Johnson Avenue, and Tanley and Tech roads. No forced entry was reported. Cash and property were taken.

Stabbing

A stabbing occurred in the 8500 block of Fenton Street at approximately 5:41 p.m. July 17. A suspect was arrested.

Gaithersburg

Residential burglary

Someone entered a residence through an unlocked door in the 9900 block of Foxborough Circle in the early morning hours of July 17. Nothing was taken.

Home invasion robbery and assault

Two brothers were arrested after they allegedly assaulted two adults in a room at the Extended Stay America hotel located at 201 Professional Drive at approximately 11:28 a.m. July 15.

Commercial burglary

An attempted burglary occurred at the Summit Crest Apartments leasing office at 38 North Summit Ave. in the early morning hours of July 13.

School burglary

Someone broke into Summit Hall Elementary School at 101 West Deer Park Road between approximately 3 p.m. July 15 and 8 a.m. July 16.

Strong-arm robbery

Two men assaulted another man and took cash from him in the 18700 block of Walkers Choice Road in the early morning hours of July 15.
