Police Blotter: North Bethesda Cannabis Store Broken Into; Two Strong-Arm Robberies in Silver Spring

Bethesda

Thefts from vehicles

Cash and property were taken from two vehicles between Jan. 22 and Jan. 25. One theft occurred in the 2300 block of Ashboro Drive and the other in the 1900 block of East West Highway. Force was reported in one theft.

Property was taken from a vehicle in the 5400 block of McGrath Boulevard between 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 and 4:15 p.m. Jan. 25. No forced entry was reported.

Commercial burglary

A male suspect forced entry into Liberty Medical Cannabis at 12001 Nebel St. the morning of Jan. 25. Nothing was taken.

Rockville

Thefts from vehicles

Cash, property and vehicle parts were taken from two vehicles between Jan. 19 and Jan. 25. One theft occurred in the unit block of Upper Rock Circle and the other in the unit block of Baltimore Road. Forced entry was reported.

Cash and property were taken from two vehicles between Jan. 23 and Jan. 26. One theft occurred in the 8200 block of Killean Way and the other in the 1300 block of Seven Locks Road. No forced entry was reported.

Four wheels were removed from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Rockville Pike between 9:30 p.m. Jan. 26 and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 27.

Residential burglaries

Property was taken from a residence in the 300 block of Misty Knoll Drive between 5 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. Jan. 25. Forced entry was reported.

Property was taken from a residence in the 10800 block of Hollbrooke Lane between 7:30 a.m. and 5:11 p.m. Jan. 23. Forced entry was reported.

Property was taken from a residence in the 13800 block of Goosefoot Terrace between 5:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Jan. 26. Forced entry was reported.

Silver Spring

Thefts from vehicles

Cash, property and vehicle parts were taken from multiple vehicles between Jan. 21 and Jan. 25. Thefts occurred on Colesville and Blair roads, King and Kennett streets, Georgia Avenue and East West Highway. Forced entry was reported.

Vehicle thefts

A vehicle was taken from the 11700 block of Old Columbia Pike at 9:20 a.m. Jan. 22. No forced entry was reported, the vehicle was reportedly left unlocked with the keys in the ignition.

A vehicle was taken from the 13000 block of English Turn Drive between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. Jan. 21. Entry was not known. The victim reported his vehicle keys stolen three days prior to the theft. The vehicle was recovered Jan. 21.

Strong-arm robbery

Five suspects assaulted two males and took their property at 3:39 p.m. Jan. 26. Police arrested a 17-year-old and two 13-year-olds.

Six suspects assaulted a male and took his cash and property in the 11600 block of Lockwood Drive at 10:24 p.m. Jan. 21. Police arrested one suspect.
