Rockville area

Thefts from vehicles

  • Money and property were taken from a vehicle in the 12800 block of Twinbrook Parkway around 11:20 p.m. on Oct. 13.

Residential burglary

  • Property was taken from a home in the 13300 block of Signal Tree Lane between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Oct. 12. Force was reported.

Bethesda area

Thefts from vehicles

  • Property was taken from two vehicles between 6 p.m. on Oct. 15 and 11:56 p.m. on Oct. 16. The thefts happened in the 2400 block of Colston Drive and the 4000 block of Bradley Lane.
  • Property was taken from two vehicles between Oct. 10 and 15. The thefts happened in the 9700 block of Parkwood Drive and the 9100 block of Chanute Drive.
  • Money and property were taken from four vehicles between Oct. 11 and 15. Affected streets included Kingswood Road, Dickens Avenue and the area of Old Georgetown Road and Chapman Avenue. Force was reported in two cases.
  • Money, property and parts were taken from multiple vehicles between Oct. 14 and 16. Affected streets included Bradley Boulevard, MacArthur Boulevard, Worthington Drive and Rodman Road. Force was reported in three cases.
  • Money and property were taken from a vehicle in the 9000 block of Bradley Boulevard between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Oct. 13.

Vehicle thefts

  • A vehicle was taken in the 5000 block of Cushing Drive between midnight and 7:45 a.m. on Oct. 12.

Burglaries

  • Money was taken from the Bethesda Montessori School at 7511 Clarendon Road between 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 and 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 15. Force was reported.
  • Property was taken from the garage of a home in the 7000 block of Arlington Road between 6:20 and 7:20 a.m. on Oct. 14. Force was reported.

Silver Spring area

Thefts from vehicles

  • Money and property were taken from three vehicles between 7:51 p.m. on Oct. 13 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 14. Affected streets included 13th Street, Colesville Road and Fenton Street. Force was reported in two cases.
  • Money and property were taken from two vehicles between Oct. 15 and 17. The thefts happened in the 1800 block of Locust Grove Road and the 600 block of Ellsworth Drive. Force was reported in one case.
  • Property was taken from three vehicles between Oct. 13 and 15. Affected streets included Garland Avenue, 11th Avenue and Manchester Road. Force was reported in one case.
  • Property was taken from two vehicles between Oct. 13 and 15. Affected streets included Renfrew Road, New Hampshire Avenue and Elton Road.
  • Money, property and parts were taken from multiple vehicles between Oct. 10 and 13. Affected streets included Andrew Drive, Hunters Gate Court, Sweet Clover Court, Featherwood Street, Old Columbia Pike, Gracefield Road, Sarah Drive and Featherwood Drive. Force was reported in multiple cases.
  • Parts were taken from two vehicles between Oct. 12 and 17. The thefts happened in the first block of Crosswood Court and the 3300 block of Hampton Point Drive. Force was reported in one case.

Vehicle thefts

  • A motorcycle was taken in the 8300 block of Colesville Road between 6 p.m. on Oct. 13 and 8 p.m. on Oct. 14.
  • A vehicle was taken in the area of Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive around 4:20 p.m. on Oct. 17. It was reportedly left unlocked and running.
  • A vehicle was taken in the area of Old Columbia Pike and Carriage House Terrace between 8 p.m. on Oct. 15 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 16.
  • A vehicle was taken in the 15700 block of Old Columbia Pike between 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 and 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 13. Force was reported. It was recovered on Oct. 13.

Armed robbery

  • Someone took money and property from a man in the 8800 block of Garland Avenue around 8:10 p.m. on Oct. 11. The robber displayed a weapon.
  • Someone took money from a man in the 12000 block of Cherry Hill Road around 9 p.m. on Oct. 11. The robber displayed a weapon.

Strong-arm robbery

  • Someone assaulted a man and took his money in the 13800 block of Old Columbia Pike between 10 p.m. on Oct. 15 and 4 a.m. on Oct. 16.

Commercial burglary

  • Property was taken from the Shell gas station at 100 University Blvd. West between 5 p.m. on Oct. 13 and noon on Oct. 14. Force was reported.
